Oxie Scoutkår from the swedish guide and scout association was established in 1964 by Sven Wernbro and has since then been active in the district of Oxie. Our facilities have always been located in the older parts of the village right next to the local church. During our earlier years it was actually thanks to the church that we were able to continue our work by lending us money and supporting us.

 Since then we have become independen thanks to a steady growth and a growing intrest in our activities. Our current locatation on Toftåkersvägen 3, which preaviosly had been rented from the council of Malmö for many years, was purschased in the year of 1995. Today our membership numbers are over a hundred, slightly below our golden years in the 80's, but we are seeing a brighter time with an increase in participation so the negative trend is turned. We are always on the look-out for new adventures and we are confident that there is plenty to come by...
